Further guidance on the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (otherwise known as the Furlough Scheme).

The Government has just published further guidance on the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (more commonly called the Furlough Scheme).

It is not yet clear whether HMRC intends to rely on this guidance only, or whether there will be actual legislation.

If you intend to rely on the scheme, make sure you read the guidance carefully. The Government is going to issue further guidance on how to claim the payments soon.
