It has been confirmed that the changes to the IR35 rules for the private sector will now happen in April 2021. The reform will bring IR35 in line with the public sector. Join us at our event to understand the implications of this and what that means for you as an employer.
Please note, IR35 changes do not apply to small businesses who engage contractors via the contractors personal service company. You will be deemed a small business for these purposes if your business can satisfy two of the three points below:
- Less than 50 employees.
- Maximum of £5.1million on its balance sheet.
- Turnover of less than £10.2 million
There are also rules which cover connected and associated companies. If the parent of a group is not a small business and are caught by the changes, their subsidiaries will also have to apply the rules.
